Calling All Helping Hands!
We’re looking for volunteers to help us make the Potjie Cup & Saffa Market day a day to remember! If you’ve got gees, a big smile, and two hands—we need you!
Areas where we could use your help:
• Set-up crew – tents, tables, signage, bunting, and stall layout
• Registration desk – welcoming vendors, guests, and teams
• The Outdoor Kitchen - setting up the kitchen and organizing all the dishes and potjies
• Boeresport assistants – helping organize and referee games
• Runners – general helpers and go-to problem-solvers during the day
• Clean-up crew – the unsung heroes who leave the place spotless
• Sokkie wranglers – help with lights, music setup, and vibes for the evening jol
• Parking and traffic help – guiding guests to designated spots
• Vendor liaisons – checking in with stallholders throughout the day
• Sponsorships – liaising with sponsors and donors for the event
• Potjie judges support – helping with plates, logistics, and taste control 😋
