Tickets & Booking

  • Is there a booking fee?
    Yes, a small booking fee applies to all tickets purchased online or in person. All sales are final – no exchanges, refunds, or upgrades are available at the Box Office (see Refunds & Cancellations).
  • Can I buy tickets on the door?
    Yes, but availability isn’t guaranteed. The Box Office opens 1 hour before showtime – call before travelling to check.
  • How will I receive my tickets?
    • eTicket (Email): Sent to your inbox—show on your phone or print at home.
    • Post: Tickets can be posted for an extra £1.50.
    • Collection: Collect from the Box Office in advance or on the night of the event.
  • Can I show my e-ticket on my phone?
    Yes—most events accept eTickets on a smartphone or tablet.
  • Where is the seating plan?
    Shown during online booking. Layouts may vary depending on the performance.
  • Do you offer concessions or voucher codes?
    Concessions (when available) apply to children under 16, students, seniors, carers, and guests with disabilities. Voucher codes may occasionally be offered and can be entered at checkout.

Refunds & Cancellations

  • Are refunds available?
    All sales are final. Refunds are only issued if a show is cancelled or rescheduled. Refunds may take up to 10 working days.
  • What happens if a show is rescheduled or cancelled?
    If rescheduled, you’ll be contacted by email/phone and can accept the new date or request a refund. If cancelled, you’ll receive a full refund by your original payment method.
  • I’ve lost my tickets—what should I do?
    If booked online, you can reprint your eTicket. Otherwise, contact the Box Office on 0121 296 9543.

Accessibility

  • Wheelchair access & companion seating: Both entrances are step-free. Row H is reserved for wheelchair users, with companion seats available (varies by event).
  • Blue Badge parking & drop-off: Drop-off bay at the main entrance. Blue Badge spaces by the Old Council Chambers.
  • Relaxed Performances: Offered during our annual Christmas Pantomime and some other events, with reduced sound, softer lighting, house lights partially on, and freedom to move in/out of the auditorium.

Families & Groups

  • School & group bookings: Discounts available for groups of 10+. Contact enquiries@suttoncoldfieldtownhall.com or call 0121 296 9543.
  • Babes in Arms policy: Children under 2 may attend free on a parent’s lap. Children aged 2+ require a ticket.

On the Day

  • Door times: Usually open 1 hour before showtime. Check your ticket or event page.
  • Refreshments: Tea, coffee, sweets, and snacks available. Licensed bar before the show and during intervals (cash and card accepted).
  • Lost property: Held for 1 month. Call 0121 296 9543 if you think you’ve left something behind.

Getting Here

  • By car: 15 minutes from the M6/M42. No on-site parking. Nearby car parks include Anchorage Road (0.1 miles), The Townhouse (0.2 miles), and Reddicroft Upper (0.4 miles). Drop-off point at the main entrance.
  • By train: 1-minute walk from Sutton Coldfield Station. Regular services to Birmingham Grand Central and Lichfield (~20 mins).
  • By bus: Routes 6, 76, and 78 stop nearby.
